If you look at a colour wheel Red mixes with blue to produce maroons and purples and mixes with yellow to produce the oranges so as you are warm you are looking for pure to yellow based reds (on the right) not blue based reds (on the left). There are some colours that you are likely to be not sure about and one of the big ones is likely to be red.
